TradingView to FundedNext: Platform and Automation Rules

FundedNext operates several account programs, and its restrictions differ between challenge accounts and funded accounts. An MT5 login alone does not establish which type of automation is allowed.

Rules vary by account type and stage

Some MT4/MT5 CFD accounts may use EAs and VPS with required add-ons. The cited CFD copying rules ban third-party cloud copiers and copying that involves a Funded Account.

Automation depends on market and account size. For FundedNext CFD, the official rule permits EAs on MT4/MT5 accounts below $50,000 with a fee; $50,000+ CFD accounts and cTrader/Match-Trader automation are manual-only. Futures uses its own Tradovate programme. A historical user Match-Trader connection is not evidence of automation permission.

What actually matters when connecting TradingView

FundedNext publishes program-specific rules for MetaTrader-based Expert Advisors and VPS execution. Its current CFD guidance permits EAs and VPS on certain MT4/MT5 accounts when the necessary paid add-ons are active; those permissions are not automatically transferable to every account size or other platform.

For copy trading, FundedNext describes a narrow allowance between the same trader's eligible Challenge Accounts, with limits on capital allocation and the master-account relationship. Copying involving a funded account is prohibited in the cited CFD rules.

The firm also prohibits external cloud-based copying services while distinguishing them from certain permitted VPS-based copying setups. This makes the location and design of AlgoWay's routing process important. Check the exact account product and ask the firm before connecting an external TradingView webhook.

Checks to make before enabling orders

01 · Account setup

Identify whether the account is CFD or futures and which stage and plan applies.

02 · Execution permission

Check the actual platform and whether an EA/VPS add-on is available or required.

03 · Trade copying

Verify that any copying remains within the expressly permitted challenge-account relationship.

04 · Risk and compliance

Avoid interpreting permission for local or VPS tools as approval for an external cloud copier.
