Enter an entry price, stop loss and take profit. Convert the same levels into percent, pips and absolute-price webhook JSON for AlgoWay.
Pip size depends on the instrument. Enter the price step you want one pip to represent.
All three messages describe the same price levels. Percent and pips use calculated distances, while price mode keeps the exact SL and TP prices you entered.

The calculator uses the absolute distance from entry to each protective level. It does not decide whether a trade setup is good or bad and it does not place orders.
Distance from entry is divided by the entry price and converted to a percentage for percentage-based SL/TP fields.
Distance from entry is divided by the pip size you provide, so the same calculator can work with different instrument price steps.
The original stop loss and take profit prices are kept directly in the generated JSON as sl_price and tp_price.
Stop loss and take profit can describe the same protection in several ways. AlgoWay supports relative distances such as percent or pips as well as exact market prices. This calculator converts one set of Entry, SL and TP prices into all three representations so you can choose the format that matches your TradingView alert and execution setup.
Percentage mode measures the absolute distance between the entry and the protective level, then divides that distance by the entry price. The direction of the trade does not change the percentage calculation because the result represents distance, not a second price.
For example, an entry at 2,500 with a stop at 2,475 has a 25-point distance. Dividing 25 by 2,500 gives 1%. A target at 2,550 has a 50-point distance, which equals 2%. In AlgoWay JSON that becomes sltp_type set to percent together with stop_loss 1 and take_profit 2.
Pip mode uses the same price distance but divides it by the pip size you provide. This is useful because different instruments can use very different price increments. Forex pairs, metals, indices, crypto and futures should not all be treated as though one pip had the same numeric value.
A 0.0025 price move with a pip size of 0.0001 equals 25 pips. A 25-point move on another instrument with a pip size of 1 equals 25 pips as well. The number only becomes meaningful when the pip size matches the instrument convention used by your setup.
Absolute mode does not convert the values at all. The stop and target you enter are written directly as sl_price and tp_price. This is useful when your TradingView logic already calculates exact price levels and you want those prices preserved in the webhook message instead of converting them into a relative distance first.
| Input / Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Entry | 2500 |
| Stop Loss | 2475 |
| Take Profit | 2550 |
| Pip size | 1 |
| SL distance | 1% / 25 pips |
| TP distance | 2% / 50 pips |
| Absolute prices | 2475 / 2550 |
After calculating the levels, use the TradingView Webhook JSON Generator to build the complete alert message for the destination you want to connect. The calculator handles the SL/TP math; the webhook generator handles the rest of the payload.
Open the public TradingView Webhook JSON Generator to build the rest of the message step by step for your execution platform.
Use the price increment you want the calculator to treat as one pip. The correct value depends on the instrument and the convention used by your setup.
No. Everything is calculated locally in the browser. The tool only converts values and builds JSON text.
Relative SL/TP fields represent distance from entry. The absolute-price version preserves the original direction by keeping the exact SL and TP prices.
