TradingView to Apex Trader Funding: Platform and Automation Rules

Apex is listed with both Tradovate and Rithmic, but a working futures platform connection is not permission to submit orders from a TradingView strategy automatically.

Automated TradingView entries are restricted

Apex's published user agreement requires manually initiated originating orders. A TradingView alert must not automatically open, modify or cancel orders under the cited terms. Automated copying of manually placed trades has a specific exception.

Current platform intersections with AlgoWay

Restricted for automatic TradingView entries. Apex requires manual submission of originating orders; permitted copying starts with manually executed orders under tightly defined conditions. Tradovate/Rithmic platform support does not override that rule.

What actually matters when connecting TradingView

An Apex trading account may use Tradovate or Rithmic. Those platforms have separate AlgoWay technical guides, but the platform provider does not define the prop firm's automation permissions. The account agreement does.

The Apex user agreement requires a trader to make a discrete, intentional manual action for each originating order. Pre-programmed entries, automated order modifications and scripts executing signals without individual approval are prohibited unless the firm specifically permits them.

Apex distinguishes this from an approved copying workflow: a trade manually opened in one personally controlled account may be replicated into other personally owned accounts under its conditions. A TradingView webhook that opens the first trade is not the same thing. Use TradingView signals for monitoring unless you obtain express permission for automated execution.

Checks to make before enabling orders

01 · Account setup

Identify the correct Apex program and trading platform for this account.

02 · Execution permission

Review the manual-order requirement before connecting any automated order source.

03 · Trade copying

If copying, make sure the originating trade is placed manually and follower accounts are yours.

04 · Risk and compliance

Ask Apex for written authorization before using a workflow not expressly permitted.
